Firefox 3.1 has very fast javascript. Chrome will get extensions soon once v2.0 goes into public beta (is private beta now).

FF 3.1 is much faster than 3.0 especially on Web 2.0 firefox 3.1 addonssite. Chrome is good for an older computer.

Some would suggest Safari or Opera, though I like chrome better than both after FF.
Firefox 3.05 runs smooth.
Firefox 3.0.5 the befirefox 3.1 addonsst browser, also install firefox optimizer 2008, it will fast your surf to about 30%. other browser are rubbish trust me.
