I use to download video from YouTube (in .flv format). Then the file can be converted to .mp3 using "ExtractVideo FLV Converter" (free utility from )
It's easy if you use moyea flv to video converter. You can downldownload mp3 from youtube songsoad, play youtube videos, or even convert them into many formats that is supported by mobile devices including ipod, psp, zune, iphone, mp3, etc,

1. download the video (it will automatically be saved to your

hard disk)
2. convert the video to the mp3 format
3. then save it to your mp3.

An easier way (IMO) is a program called Audacity which can be used to record all sound output through your speakers - press record within Audacity, play the video and let it record, then stop the recording and save it as an MP3 or similar. Check it out for instructions on how to use on Google or similar.
